Back in the 1990s (yes that long ago!) several community groups got together to promote the Buckland Monachorum Community Partnership. It’s first scheme was to set up an IT Suite in a redundant school building for community IT training etc. The BMCP raised funds for a projector, interactive whiteboard and a laptop and obtained grants for this too. Although there were further ideas about projects, nothing else came to fruition and the BMCP lay dormant. Until now!

The BMCP Bank account is still live and will be used to hold funds for future projects. The first of these will be to re-equip the play park for children to have somewhere exciting to play, now that the school grounds are off-limits.
